ABOUT ME

Growing up in rural northern Michigan, music was a large part of my life. There was always music on around the house, and my dad was often picking out a melody on his guitar. I fell in love with music at an early age and started played the alto sax in 5th grade, then taught myself how to play guitar during my senior year.

Following the nationwide COVID shutdown in 2020, I began volunteering on the production team at my local church. I started out running graphics and lights, moved to running the live stream, and eventually running the audio. This is really where my passion for working behind the scenes with audio developed.

During my senior year of high school, I applied to Michigan Technological University (MTU) to study Audio Production and Technology. While in college, I participated in many different productions, while working in the campus theatre, a student run production company, on theatre productions, and class projects.

When not studying or working, I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies, including practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, backpacking, playing guitar, art, snowboarding, reading, and playing with my dog. I love a good adventure and am comfortable doing multi-day solo backpacking trips, but am also just as content to curl up with some blankets and binge watch a good mystery show.
